Mario TM Van Dijk

Born and raised in The Netherlands, and moved to the US for adventure and ending up liking it here, I was initially involved in health, ag and the sciences, and still am. Business, in particular finance, entrepreneurship, helping to develop companies, etc got the better half of me though. Worked for companies in industries like telecom, investment management, and professional consulting, and now testing and certification (a small international company called Global ID Group), as CFO.

After many years, finally calling Fairfield, Iowa home. Love being involved in the community and helping foster entrepreneurship, either by being a mentor, consultant (through Aim-Vision Solutions), organizing networking events and luncheons, connecting people and being on the Board of various organizations.

These are interesting times, with so many changes in technology, different generations with different views and perspectives. How we can combine and integrate these all is a great challenge.

My inspirations comes from friends, travel, cooking, hiking, the beach, music, wine, reading and the kids. A daily dose of chocolate is a must.
