My passion embodies Aviation, Eco-Friendly and Innovative Emerging Technologies. Electric propulsion is increasingly becoming more practical, allowing sustainable alternative energy to propel us to new heights. In the 2nd grade, Mrs. Wilson from Bonsall Elementary School in California allowed me to join the 5th grade solar powered electric car race, coincidentally, my contraption won. My curiosity for electric power sparked anew beginning. When I was 10 years old, with the support of my Grandmother, I began flying Radio Controlled Airplanes & helped roll out the first runway at Palomar R/C Flyers in Fallbrook, California, just a bike ride away from my childhood home. As a 14 year old, I managed the helicopter department (for credit towards products) at Discount Hobby Warehouse in San Diego, CA. My love for Aviation continued to grow and at age 18, I joined the Hawaii Air National Guard as a U.S. Air Force Air Traffic Controller. Then Dreamed onward from the Air Guard to pursue a career in developing radio controlled helicopters at Horizon Hobby in Champaign, IL. I'm Thankful to have been an instrumental part of the team involved with development of the mCX2, mSR, 120SR, mCX Tandem Multi-Rotor influenced by Canada's Rescue Boeing Vertol CH-46, and early development of the m3D micro flybarless helicopter flight control, which later became known as the mCPX. While helping Horizon, I met the founder of Yuneec International, Mr. Tian Yu, who founded a forward thinking company immersed in the innovation of efficient electric propulsion technologies. It was inspiring meeting the man who designed one of the first widely available and easy to control electric powered Radio Controlled Airplanes called the Firebird II. After a quick break from work to pursue my studies in Business and Environmental Science at Parkland College, and after helping Firelands Group launch their first Electric Ready-To-Fly Ethos QX75, QX130 QuadCopters & FP110 Easy-To-Fly Single Rotor Copter, I decided to join Yuneec USA. We shared The World's First Smart-Phone Controlled Electronic Longboard at #CES2014 capable of 18 miles per charge, called the E-GO @ www.E-GO.com Equally Exciting and shown at #CES2015 is our Yuneec Aerial Photography & Videography Aircraft, designed to change your perspective...Fly the fun, super easy to fly Full-HD Q500 Typhoon..http://www.Yuneec.com
