After more than 20 years in the newspapers business, I decided to take a leap into the future by joining Patch.com, a subsidiary of Aol that is building hundreds of local news web sites across America. With Patch, I'm overseeing the creation of a dozen sites in suburban Milwaukee -- and loving every minute of it! I have wanted to be a journalist ever since the third grade -- it's all I ever wanted to do..and nearly 50 years later, this career is a dream come true. Some say I'm a workaholic, but I don't believe in that word. I'm passionate about what I do and for me it's not really work -- it's something I truly enjoy. When I'm not working, I spent time with my wife, Debbie, and two children: Erica and Kobi. I'm a rabid White Sox fan, although I am pretty darn fond of the Brewers, too.
