Mark Morad

Mark Morad is a health care industry executive and entrepreneur with a background in the field of nursing. Currently serving as CEO, director of nursing, and administrator for Lexmark Health Care Inc., Mark Morad also leads several home and community-based waiver companies that he established.

Mr. Morad earned a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi and worked as a nurse at the onset of his career. At Pine Grove Psychiatric Hospital and at the psychiatric unit of DePaul Hospital, he worked as a charge registered nurse. He was also a psychiatric registered nurse at Interim Health Care.

In 1997, Mr. Morad founded Interlink Health Care Inc., followed by Med-Rite Pharmacy in 2001. Over the next decade, he created several health care companies and extended his business interests into the entertainment and restaurant industries as well. In 2011, his first restaurant, The Original Italian Pie, opened its doors in New Orleans with a menu of gourmet pizza, pastas, salads, and sandwiches. The eatery has since expanded to multiple locations.
