Now a Senior Claims Advisor for the country's largest Canadian-owned insurance brokerage, I had a varied career in insurance claims. Have spent 20 years as an independent adjuster, working for four national firms in three different provinces. I also spent several years as an account manager with national disaster restoration firms.

I'm a hobbyist nerd with interests in technology and the Internet, and am just trying to find a place in the digital landscape. I currently reside in the Greater Vancouver area - it's like Toronto or Chicago, with half the speed when in traffic, but a million times the great scenery.

I have renewed my interest in fitness, primarily as a runner, and the wonderful West Coast lifestyle allows great skiing in the winter. In the summer, Vancouver is a tremendously bicycle friendly city and I'm starting to explore that much more.
