Mike Matamala

I have always designed things. When I was a boy, I used magic markers to enhance the look of my action figures by giving the costumes more detail and making them look cooler. I studied at the High School of Art and Design and the Art Institute, but like everyone knows, the real education is real world experience. I've got lots of that!

I have two goals when I design: to tell a story, and to give the end user the best experience possible. The tools I use are typography, color, layout and my insatiable urge to be the Batman of the design world.
