Matthew Girard | Social Media & Online Marketer

Since my recent graduation from Wilfrid Laurier University I have applied my passion for a fast paced and constantly changing environment to the world of online marketing. My keen interest in marketing was sparked during my last year of university in my role as marketing & finance executive with the Residence Athletic Council. Through this position I was able to gain valuable social media and online marketing experience.

My enthusiasm for this emerging field led me to seek out an Internship with Intrigue Media who were integral in fostering my growth as a marketer, allowing me to create and see campaigns through to completion. I was put in charge of managing clients’ social media accounts on a diverse number of platforms, creating ads, contests, blogs relating to the industry, while simultaneously gaining Photoshop skills which helped to round out my online marketing ability.
