Matthew Ferrante
Founder in New York
The recipient of an Associate's Degree in Applied Sciences from Westchester, Matthew Ferrante subsequently earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Mercy College. Matthew Ferrante then went on to complete the Microsoft systems Engineer Program at Skidmore College.
From 2000 to 2007, Mr. Ferrante worked as a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service and provided assistance in regards to high-profile breach investigations, presidential and foreign dignitary threat assessments, and encryption cracking, among other concerns. He also provided consultation in creating identity theft legislation and designed the first successful network wiretap on encrypted virtual private networks.
Following nine months serving as a senior technology specialist with an forensic investigation lab in New York, Matthew Ferrante founded Aurora Information Security & Risk in May 2008. The company provides affordable and proven security solutions to global enterprises and offers a variety of information technology services from network discovery and mapping to web design and hosting.
Supplementing his professional pursuits, Mr. Ferrante is a member of the New York Electronic Crimes Task Force.
