An award-winning equity analyst and portfolio manager, Matthew Litfin balances a busy career as a financial professional with several civic responsibilities. Mr. Litfin currently leverages his financial expertise in his role as a member of the Wheaton Police Pension Fund Board. The board maintains responsibility for all aspects of the fund, including managing investments and regulating contributions. In addition to his work with the pension fund, Matthew Litfin serves as a trustee on the board of an educational institution, Wheaton Academy.

Professionally, Matthew Litfin began his career in the finance sector nearly two decades ago as an analyst. In 1997, he joined a Chicago-based asset management firm as an equity research analyst, a role for which he received honors from several industry publications, including the Wall Street Journal and Forbes Magazine. Currently, he serves as a portfolio manager for the firm. He is regularly quoted in national media.

Mr. Litfin earned his MBA from Harvard University. During his free time, he enjoys reading, traveling, and exercising.
