Seeking an internship that involves planning large scale events with management responsibilities. I am very interested in events such as the Warrior Dash, Tough Mudder, and events of that nature. I would love the opportunity to be on a planning team that creates these incredible opportunities for its customers. My planning experience can be demonstrated through my work at Central Michigan University by planning a 5K dog walk/run in order to raise money for charity. Our team of 5 started with no budget and raised over $300 for the local charity Quilts to the Rescue. Our team was able to secure many local sponsors, as well as securing a site that could hold our event.

I currently work for the Student Activity Center at Central Michigan doing facility operations as well as working with the event staff. As event staff, I started as a ticket taker but was quickly recognized as an effective leader and given additional responsibility with crowd control duties.

I love working with people and being able to brainstorm creative ideas. I feel that I would bring a lot of creativity to any team in any setting.
