Meenakshi Vemuri

An educator, researcher, and clinician, Dr. Meenakshi Vemuri is Chief of Psychiatry at Harrington Hospital in Southbridge, Massachusetts. In her capacity as a psychiatrist, she treats adults, children, and adolescents. Dr. Meenakshi Vemuri conducts psychopharmacological consultations (determining the right prescriptions and dosages) and performs diagnostic evaluations of patients. An expert in depression and mood disorders, she treats patients who have such conditions as anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

In addition to her role at Harrington Hospital, Meenakshi Vemuri, M.D., treats children and adults through her private practice. She also passes her training and expertise on to medical students as an Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
