Let me start by saying, I LOVE what I do! For over 25 years I've been using my creativity, trend-setting style, and desire to help others, by designing award-winning interiors for my clients through my design firm, Distinctive Designs.

I also collaborate with advertisement agencies, magazines, TV production and theatre companies, photographers, home builders, and realtors by styling photo shoots (like the one you see here where I'm hard at work!), designing sets, and staging homes.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge of design and inspire others by guest speaking at colleges, design shows, and trade organizations. I especially loved being a featured designer on the 4-seasons of the award winning reality TV show, "Design U". Originally airing in Canada on HGTV, the show has since expanded to the USA, France, Italy, Finland, Poland, South Africa, Kuwait, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.

I'm an avid traveler and photographer. I love exploring different cultures, and my Nikon DSLR is always ready to capture the beauty and inspiration that surrounds us, whether natural or man-built!

In my spare time, I love creating imaginative food dishes, and sharing a meal with family and friends, often enjoying great conversation, food and wine!
