Meredith Balboni

Weston, Florida, United States

Actively engaged in efforts to combat hunger in the eastern Massachusetts community, Meredith Balboni has volunteered with The Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB). As one of the more than 25,000 volunteers who contribute to GBFB each year, she has helped the food bank approach its goal of delivering at least one meal each day to all residents in need. Meredith Balboni has also participated in Project Bread’s Walk for Hunger, an annual fundraising walk through Boston and surrounding communities that supports sustainable programs to alleviate hunger in Massachusetts.

A high school graduate of Brimmer and May School in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, Ms. Balboni played for the school’s varsity soccer and tennis teams and won the 2010 Most Improved Tennis Player trophy. During her sophomore year, she traveled with classmates on an educational tour through England and Paris, France, that included destinations such as Dover Castle, the Tower of London, and the Louvre.

In her free time, Meredith Balboni enjoys making art, crafting, skiing, and watching Bruins and Red Sox games. She also attends the theater and admires the costumes, stage design, and plotline of the musicals Wicked and The Lion King.
