Meredith Ellis

Meredith Ellis is an Austin based high-end Interior Designer specializing in new construction and large-scale renovations. Although born and raised in Texas, Meredith spent 18 years outside the state, living in cities well known for design.

After studying abroad in Florence, she graduated from the University of Colorado with a BA in Art History. Meredith moved to New York to begin her design career under the revered Bunny Williams. Five years later she moved to Los Angeles and became the Lead Designer for Thomas Beeton on a 10,000 square foot home published in Elle Décor, in 2006. After Beeton, she joined famed White House designer, Michael Smith. As a Senior Designer, she worked on some of Michael’s highest profile projects, including a Santa Monica beach hotel, and a Penthouse Apartment on Park Avenue in New York City.

In 2008, after over 10 years of honing her style and collaborating with some of the nation’s best architects and craftsmen, Meredith launched her own business, Meredith Ellis Design. Her vast experience and elaborate network allow her to tap into the best vendors, antiques dealers, craftsmen, and artists a client could ask for.
