Michael Carvell

Michael Carvell is a multi-business entrepreneur and agricultural industry leader based in Northern Maine. As President of Mountain Valley Inc, a food manufacturing and potato dealing operation with over 38 years in the industry, Michael has built a reputation for dependability, long-term commitment, and operational excellence.

Beyond Mountain Valley, Michael owns and operates MC Logistics Inc and MC Freight Transportation Brokerage, providing commercial freight services, carrier selection, and shipment coordination across the region. His diverse business portfolio reflects decades of hands-on experience in agricultural supply chain management, freight transportation, and business development.

Michael is equally dedicated to giving back to his community. He built a free fitness facility open to local residents — now serving 47 members — and has contributed to the reconstruction of the local veterans hall, youth ski programs at Big Rock Ski Mountain, and donations to the local school system. His approach to business and life is guided by a people-first mentality, strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for strengthening the community around him.
