"Afoot and lighthearted I take to the open road, healthy, free, the world before me."
― Walt Whitman

I am off to explore the world and myself. I have been teaching High School History for the last five years. I started when I was 21 and I have grown to really enjoy it. But I feel like I found my calling too soon. The world is too vast and mysterious for me to settle down yet. There is much to explore, learn and experience. So I decided to do what everyone always says they wish they could do. I am picking up and leaving. Driving across the country this summer with some buds and my best friend, my 3 year old German Shepherd Valkyrie. Experiencing my country. The beauty and brahsness. Testing myself, pushing myself out of my comfort zone. Basically doing what people say is so important in life, but rarely do. When my road trip concludes, I will be moving to Buenos Aires, Argentina. There I will do some volunteer work, learn how to speak Spanish, and embarass myself while trying to Tango. Along the way, I hope to learn some things about life, love and happiness.
