Michael Ackland-Lang

During my time at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where I had been studying Scenic Construction (Set Building), I gained a wide range of skills in Carpentry, Metal Engineering and Draughting on AutoCAD.

I have been able to demonstrate these in a range of jobs both in Royal Central and as a professional scenic constructor.

I have worked with professional scenery companies such as Illusion Design & Construct, and Scott Fleary Productions.

I have worked in theatre such as the Theatre Royal Haymarket (London), the Quay Theatre (Sudbury, Suffolk), The Theatre Royal Bury (Bury St. Edmund's) and The New Wolsey Theatre (Ipswich).

I have experience both backstage and on-stage and have worked in several positions ranging through Stage Management, Design, Prop Making, Lighting and Sound.
