Michael Arata MD

After receiving his bachelor of science in biochemistry from the University of California, Davis, Michael Arata, MD, enrolled in the medical program at the University of California, San Francisco. Upon graduating with his doctor of medicine, he began his training at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital on a medical internship. Following the conclusion of the internship, he began a diagnostic radiology residency at the Duke University Medical Center. In 2000, Michael Arata, MD, concluded his interventional radiology training at the University of Pennsylvania hospital.

Dr. Arata launched his medical career with Newport Harbor Radiologists. He subsequently went into business for himself as the founder of Pacific Interventionalists, an interventional radiologist practice based out of Newport Beach, California. He has overseen operations at the practice for more than a decade. He expanded his professional activities by taking on the role of president at Synergy Health Concepts, and in 2014, he established a third Newport Beach-based office, this time with a focus on metabolic and functional medicine. Dr. Michael Arata also leads the practice at Autonomic Specialists as company president.
