After graduating with his juris doctor from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Michael Guyerson worked to became partner with the law firm of Onsager, Guyerson, Fletcher, and Johnson, LLC, where he was commended for his work with the firms’ continuing legal education and pro-bono initiatives.

Over the course of his career, he has held ties with a number of professional legal organizations, including the American Bankruptcy Institute. Furthermore, he was a founding member of the Colorado Bar Association’s Agricultural Law Section and previously served as its chair. Additionally, his viewpoints and professional findings have appeared in publications including the Colorado Lawyer and the Denver Business Journal, among others.

Today, Mr. Guyerson serves as legal counsel for Buechler & Garber LLC (www.bandglawoffice.com), a Denver-based firm focused on matters including reorganizations and financial restructuring. His practice areas include commercial loan restructuring, representation of debtors, and other aspects of bankruptcy litigation.
