I had a tragedy at the age of 8 that I had to spend years cleaning up. In oppostition to this clean up was a coconut shell that I had to live in for 22 years after the tragedy. But in spite of that I became a musical resource for schools and churches, published over forty of my own compositions, played numerous recitals from Washington, DC to New Hampshire, took in homeless people and managed to aquire a long list of "real" friends. I thinks that's a goog thing.
