Michael Stacey

A doctor of education and an experienced psychotherapist, Michael Stacey has taught a range of courses in education and psychology at a number of colleges and universities. He currently instructs students at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts; the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts; and Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Over the course of his career, Michael Stacey has built a reputation as an expert in the field of educating educators. He has also earned recognition for the outstanding teaching evaluations he has received.

In addition to his accomplishments in the classroom, Michael Stacey has written a series of books on the subjects of faculty and student development. He is a coauthor of the book Observation Skills: Observing Team Processes and Interactions, published in 2009 by Pearson Higher Education. Mr. Stacey also penned a series of informative articles for Central Michigan University’s Target Newsletter. The titles of these articles include “Why Students Are Not Motivated” and “The Learning Contract-Students Course Management Tool.”
