Michelle is a passionate PR pro and communications specialist with 10+ years experience working across entertainment, lifestyle, and technology sectors leading award-winning campaigns for content and brands across platforms.

A natural news and pop culture junkie, Michelle started her career at Bell Media in Toronto, executing national PR campaigns for a variety of TV entertainment networks including Bravo and etalk. She continued to serve the arts and entertainment working as a Public Relations lead at the Toronto International Film Festival, Dancap Productions Inc., and, on the agency side, at FLIP Publicity & Promotions Inc.

With a proven track record in producing big buzz PR campaigns (locally, nationally, and internationally), Michelle’s commitment to communications and branding has earned her a credible reputation as a strategic thinker with creative executions that defy traditional tactics.

Currently, Michelle is the Director of Publicity for Corus Entertainment, overseeing PR and communications strategy for some of Canada's biggest brands and platforms.

In her role, Michelle manages PR and communications strategies for all network brands and streaming platforms, original and acquired content, and talent, and previously held similar roles for over 20 Specialty TV networks and brands along with Corus' world-class animation studio, Nelvana.

Other networks networks, platforms, and brands Michelle has led PR for include: STACKTV, the Global TV App, HISTORY, Showcase, National Geographic, YTV, Disney, and more. Michelle has also worked across a number of lifestyle networks including Food Network Canada, Slice, and Lifetime.

In 2015, Michelle was among 12 participants selected to participate in Women in Film and Television Toronto's (WIFT-T) inaugural Management Accelerator Program, developed jointly with Ryerson University's G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education for rising media professionals. Michelle graduated from the 56-hour program with development training in strategic planning, financial concepts, project management, and business communications.
