Michelle Pourciau

As President of MP Synergy in Washington, DC, from 2019 to the present, Michelle Pourciau is a transportation and infrastructure professional who holds over three decades of experience in the industry. Most recently, she served as director of the Baltimore Department of Transportation, a position she held between 2017 and 2019.
Throughout her career, Michelle Pourciau has worked with a variety of firms in both the public and private sectors. She has held positions at private firms such as Sigma Associates, where she served as senior director. Ms. Pourciau began her educational journey at the University of Michigan, where she graduated with a BA in urban planning.
Following this, she pursued further education at Howard University in Washington, DC, graduating cum laude in 1982 with an MA in city and regional planning.
Outside of her career, Ms. Pourciau enjoys a variety of hobbies, including exercising, golfing, and traveling, among others. In addition to her professional roles, she actively supports and participates in several industry-related organizations and events, such as the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials and the Women's Transportation Seminar.
