Mickel Malek

After earning a bachelor of science in psychology from the University of Michigan, Mickel Malek DDS matriculated in the University of Michigan School of Dentistry to obtain his doctor of dental surgery. He became a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry in 2008 and holds active membership in the American Dental Association. Dr. Mickel Malek’s professional skills include general oral surgery as well as intramuscular and intravenous sedation, orthodontics, and periodontal tissue grafting and regeneration. He also installs dental implants at the expert level, with immediate placement and loading. Dr. Malek has authored multiple articles on different aspects of implantology and oral reconstruction.

Dr. Mickel Malek most recently treated patients at Santa Barbara Dental Care, an implant-and-oral-reconstruction practice that features CAD/CAM prosthetic milling, interphase 3D technology, and onsite fabrication of surgical guides for screw-retained surgery. In addition to his clinical duties, he directed efforts to transform Santa Barbara Dental Care into a paperless and entirely digital facility.
