Mikeya Summerville

Publicist. Reporter. Business Woman. Fashionista. Mikeya Summerville (also known as Mik) wears a multitude of fabulous hats. She is the CEO/Publicist of iT Factor Agency, Co-Host/Producer of Social Misconduct Radio Show and she also serves as the top Entertainment/Fashion Reporter for Press Pass LA. When she’s not working hard branding and promoting her clients, she is out schmoozing with some of the "iT" people of Los Angeles all while developing new business ideas.

Mik’s career started with plans of creating an event planning company but after interning for small public relations companies and loving it, she realized that she could join her creativity for events, gift of gab, power of the pen and love of fashion and entertainment and craft her own Public Relations company. Most clients are referrals, letting her know that she must be doing something right!

In 2009, the publicist started networking with Chicago’s top movers and shakers and attending events which led to her landing several clients and managing creative, out-of-the-box events. In January 2012, Mik decided to relocate to Los Angeles to expand her company and network. Having rapid, and unsuspected success (even for this goal oriented mogul in the making), she feels that it was the best decision that she has ever made!

After moving to Los Angeles, Mik began working with entertainment company, Press Pass LA as one of their entertainment/fashion reporters. She has been lucky to attend some of Hollywood’s top red carpet events such as the BET Awards, Macy's Glamorama, Oscar's and Grammys events and more. She has interviewed some of the world's biggest celebrities including: Portia Di Rossi, Snoop Dogg, Rachel Zoe, Christina Milian, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lionel Richie, Tony Goldwyn, Kurt Russell, Irving “Magic” Johnson, Holly Robinson Peete, Lamar Odom, Alan Thicke, Robin Thicke, Perez Hilton, Laila Ali, Lisa Leslie, Matt Barnes, Sugar Ray Leonard, Shannen Doherty, Lance Bass, Kathy Griffin, Tim Gunn, Brian Austin Green, Matt Barnes and many, many more.

Mik has recently teamed up with longtime friend, Brian Bush to launch Bushville Entertainment, a boutique production company. The two are currently writing an original, television script and host/produce Social Misconduct Radio Show on LA Talk Radio. This up-and-coming business mogul has only just begun with no plans of slowing down any time soon!
