A merchandizing and retail professional with a wealth of experience in apparel and accessories, Mimi Nuelle holds a master of science in media and communication from the London School of Economics and Political Science in England and a bachelor of arts in political science and international relations from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). While attending UCSB, she studied abroad at the University of Bristol in Bristol, England, and the University of Havana in Havana, Cuba. Mimi Nuelle also completed an internship with the Foreign Service Institute of the US Department of State and worked as a research assistant for Chris Ruane, a member of parliament with Britain’s House of Commons.
Over the course of her career in retail sales, Mimi Nuelle has served tenures as a divisional merchandise manager of apparel, shoes, accessories and watches with Overstock.com and the senior director of ready to wear with Nordstrom’s HauteLook.com. Ms. Nuelle has overseen soft good sales as Backcountry.com since 2013.
