Professor Katherine Symthe survived 17 years as a victim of human trafficking, bought at six months of age. She escaped at 17 years of age. In 2012, Symthe came forward with her story of survival and launched an awareness campaign against human trafficking in San Antonio, Texas. Today, her efforts has lead to laws being passed to protect the victims of human trafficking.Symthe utilizes her life experience as a living testimony of survival, success and connecting to an authentic life of value, and celebration.
