I'Tita N. Alexander is a dedicated educator and Instructional Coach with the M-DCPS iHEAT initiative. She provides creative and engaging professional development, assisting teachers in implementing inventive instructional strategies in their daily instruction. As an organizer and facilitator of district wide professional development I'Tita helps usher educators to a place of researched based high-yield instructional innovation. Her passion for education and adolescent literacy extend far beyond the classroom. Throughout her career she has co-founded service clubs for minority students; which focus on academic and personal achievement, mentored with Take Stock in Children mentoring program, sat on the alumni committee of Breakthrough Miami, and implemented best practices among her peers in the classroom to bolster collegial support. I'Tita is currently pursuing her MS in Curriculum and Instruction.
