Ray Cunningham (also known as MissterRAY) is best known for making history back in 2006 for being Black Entertainment Television (BET) first-ever openly gay on-air personality on the network's longest-running reality series, College Hill on the third season filmed at Virginia State University.

Since his participation on the show Ray has established himself on a multi-media platform: working with WCDX iPower 92 in Virginia as a on-air radio personality, became an award-winning entertainment editor and blogger for NY-based men's lifestyle print publication Bleu Magazine, made several guest appearances on The Dr. Phil Show alongside Hill Harper and Rev. Al Sharpton, was a featured celebrity blogger for Global Grind and even got into acting appearing on BET's The Game. In addition to his social commitments, he has also participated with BET's Rap It Up campaign, traveling around the country speaking with at-risk youth about HIV/AIDS awareness. Recently, MissterRAY was the first male to be awarded DC's Socialite of the Year by The Fab Empire honoring his outstanding nightlife and entertainment achievements.

Currently he is the digital correspondent for WeTV network filming online commentary in NYC for LA Hair, Braxton Family Values and SWV: Reunited. He also has several projects in development including a docu-reality series and a scripted TV talk show.
