Based in New York City, Mo Beler has more than 15 years of experience in capital markets and equity placement and serves as senior managing director of Walker & Dunlop, a position he assumed in June 2020. He studied finance and accounting at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, where he graduated with high distinction. Early in his career, Mo Beler functioned as principal and head of investments at Innovo Property Group and as vice president for the acquisition group at Rockwood Capital. After that he acted as vice chairman of New York City institutional investment sales at JLL Capital Markets, where he handled the investment sales process, which involved property valuation, marketing, and negotiation, as well as new business development.
Mo Beler established his own boutique advisory firm, Beler Advisory Group, which provided commercial real estate debt solutions such as joint venture equity placement and structured finance. His company was acquired by Walker & Dunlop in 2020, and he now he handles sourcing and structuring financing with the company.
