Let me start off by introducing myself, I’m Erika Ochoa. Some fun facts about me is that I grew up in the high desert in a small town. I have recently graduated from FIDM with my A.A. in Visual Communication. I am an October baby so of course that means that I’m obsessed with Halloween. I love cats as you can tell by my blog. If you were to show me a photo of your cat I probably will gasp in Awe.

Modern Meow was created to help me channel my desire for creating a place where you can you can get easy recipes, fun DIY's, hole in the wall places to go visit, beauty advice/ tips and even managing physical and mental health. I want my blog to contribute to people’s lives whether it’s making them laugh or sparking some creativity. I look forward to this amazing adventure with you guys and I hope you enjoy the ride.
