Mohamed Ali

Hi my name is Mohamed Ali, I am 22 years young and this is my story!

At the age of five I moved from Somalia to New Zealand with my parents and three siblings.

As time progressed I become accustomed to the way of life in that part of the world, and I was presented with many different opportunities that I would otherwise have not had the chance to capitalize on.

I lived in New Zealand for seventeen years and over that time period some of my best accomplishments were finishing high school and then eventually moving on to complete by Commerce Degree at the University of Canterbury.

By far some of the most challenging times of my life occurred during the Christchurch earthquakes, living in fear of your safety is definitely not an ideal environment to learn and strive for success in, nevertheless I did what I had to do.

After completing University I moved to the United Arab Emirates, where I am living currently, for work experience and I have to say I'm really enjoying myself...Hopefully there is plenty more great times and opportunities ahead!
