Wife, Mother of two teenagers, tech lover, singer, iPhone picturer taker, fisherwoman, writer, dog lover, and nerdy girl.

I am a graduate student clinician pursuing a Master of Science in Communication Disorders at Emerson College (expected August 2027). I am passionate about helping individuals communicate effectively and participate meaningfully in everyday life through evidence-based, person-centered care.

My clinical interests include augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), autism spectrum disorder, expressive and receptive language disorders, social communication, dysphagia, and supporting individuals with complex communication needs across the lifespan. I am especially interested in working with children, adolescents, transition-age youth, and adults with developmental disabilities to promote functional communication, independence, vocational readiness, and self-advocacy.

I am currently completing my graduate clinical internship, providing speech-language intervention to preschool-aged children with communication disorders. I have experience implementing low- and high-tech AAC systems, including Proloquo2Go and LAMP Words for Life, to support functional communication and participation.

I also serve as a Substitute Special Education Teacher with the New York City Department of Education, supporting students with diverse communication and learning needs in inclusive educational settings.

My long-term goal is to become a speech-language pathologist, researcher, and educator. I aspire to contribute to the profession through research, advocacy, and active involvement in the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), while advancing culturally responsive and equitable practices. I also hope to integrate the performing and creative arts, along with innovative technologies, into speech-language intervention to promote communication, confidence, self-expression, independence, and meaningful participation for individuals with diverse communication needs.
