Moores Sewing Center

Moore’s Sewing Center was established in Portland, Oregon, in 1951. In 1983, the Moore family moved to Southern California area, and opened stores in the communities of Mission Viejo, Huntington Beach, Orange, Apple Valley, and Riverside. While focusing on quality sewing machines from companies such as Brother, Pfaff, BERNINA, and Baby Lock, Moore's Sewing Center grew in recent years to sell vacuum cleaners as well. The company now handles canister, stick, and upright vacuums from makers such as Miele, Royal, and Simplicity Vacuums. Moore's Sewing Center has also carries a line of Casablanca ceiling fans, available in a number of different styles and colors. Moore’s Sewing Center is a fourth-generation, family-owned company, currently headed by George Moore, a third generation member who has worked at the store since the age of 16. As well as selling machines, Moore’s Sewing Center has five factory-trained technicians who are well-qualified to service any make or model of sewing machine, serger, or embroidery machine. With an emphasis on sewing machines, Moore's Sewing Center handles a wide variety of machines specially designed for embroidery, embellishing, serging, and many other specialized tasks. The firm offers machines to appeal to the casual hobbyist all the way up to computerized embroidery workstations that are suited for high-volume commercial work. Along with sewing machines, Moore's Sewing Center carries a full line of sewing notions, tools, and accessories from books and patterns to specialized embroidery and quilting tools. The line of sewing cabinets, chairs, storage units, and other sewing furniture are enough to round out any well-equipped sewing room. All of Moore's Sewing Center retail stores are open during convenient hours, including Saturdays.
