Morgan Barth

Morgan Barth, an education professional well-versed in administration, recently led Achievement First Amistad High School, a public charter facility ranked by US News and World Report as the top Connecticut high school and the 13th-best high school in America. As principal, Morgan Barth acted as the school’s public face before parents, donors, and board members. Further, he managed several other school officials who were responsible for 90 staff members.
In addition to his administrative knowledge, Morgan Barth knows what it’s like to be in the classroom teaching young people. For two years, he taught at Lakeside Elementary School in Lake Village, Arkansas, as part of Teach for America Corps. He went on to become a founding teacher of Elm City College Preparatory Middle School, where he taught fifth grade and achieved marked gains in his students’ reading abilities.
To train for his career, Morgan Barth studied at National Louis University, where he earned a master of education in administration and supervision. He also had additional leadership training at the University of Connecticut and Stanford University.
