Dr. Morrie Craig is a respected presence in the toxicology research sphere. He previously worked as a professor at Oregon State University (OSU). In addition, Dr. A. Morrie Craig served as director of Endophyte Testing Laboratory where he focused on containers of exported straw and feed that faced potential toxin issues that could threaten livestock of the receiving Pacific countries.

Dr. Craig began with OSU’s School of Veterinary Medicine as a research associate and served as an analytical toxicologist for much of the 1990s. In 1993, he took on the responsibilities of a Chief of drug testing at Iditarod Dog Sled Race in Alaska and spent almost two years as interim chair of OSU’s Department of Biomedical Sciences.

Dr. Morrie Craig has guided a number of grant-funded research projects over the decades and served as a co-principal investigator on one recent study that focused on mycotoxins and their effects on beef cattle health. In another study spanning five years, he looked at endophyte mycotoxin exposure in livestock and how it impacted both their health and production.
