Hello & welcome to my blog! By day, I am an educator in the public school system and by night, I am a devoted wife, a home cook and an amateur blogger. I live with my husband, MrOhBoy, and our spunky cat Lion-o, in the southern suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. I am swiftly approaching the age of 34 this coming November, 2012 and will be a first-time mom in December 2012.

I decided to try my hand at blogging in order to journal some of my thoughts and feelings, as well as the amazing experiences that have occured on the road to becoming a mother.
