Agape shwana is zambian talented drummer, composer Musician.He was introduced to music by his elder brother Kennedy Shwana who plays bass, in 2014 and started out with a local rock band Fossil Rock before embarking on his jazz journey with AFRORED. He has worked with the big names in Zambian music Industry. This helped him develop his talent, reaching deep in his heritage, which later made him to Work on his Soon coming Album title (Shwana2theworld).He has worked with zambias Finest musician namely james sakala, mumba yachi, trinah, moses sakala, angela nyirenda, Izrael(exile) ephraim(son of africa) and many more. he has also shared the stage with great internatinal artists such as i am in i am in richard bona, micasa, youssou ndour and many more.With this type of experience and exposure, I am not surprised that Agape comes with a new sound on the Zambian music scene. It carries the depth and intensity of Afro fusion and the width and popular appeal of other types of music. He describes this new sound as 21 Century Kalindula or Kaliz. A testimony of the growth of Afro fusion in Zambia and a testament of the richness of the Zambian music experience!
