Mychol Robirds

Mychol Robirds commands an impressive business background, all within the last six years. A veteran of the U.S. Army and the recipient of a Purple Heart following an injury he sustained during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Mr. Robirds was discharged from the military in 2005 and soon began a career in sales. A self-taught businessman, Mychol Robirds now serves as the Co-Founder and President of his own company, Securus Payments, which he helped found more than 2 years ago.

After serving his country, Mychol Robirds found work as a sales representative for 24 Hour Fitness USA, Inc.; his personable attitude and driven demeanor led him to earn top-performer recognition within the company for four consecutive months. Seeking greater opportunities, he joined a firm operating in the merchant services industry and began selling and servicing accounts throughout the states of California, Oregon, and Washington. Eventually relocating to San Diego, Mr. Robirds advanced to the positions of manager and then general manager before leaving the company. Soon afterward, Mychol Robirds found work with the Purple Heart Call Center, a virtual call center staffed entirely by U.S. military veterans who have received Purple Hearts.

While working with the Purple Heart Call Center, Mychol Robirds gained valuable expertise in customer support services, inbound and outbound telemarketing, lead generation, and appointment setting. He also became a point person for advanced training within the company and helped it triple its sales numbers. In 2009, Mychol Robirds was appointed Sales Manager for Purple Heart Services, the parent company for the Purple Heart Call Center, Purple Heart Radio, the Purple Heart Service Desk, and the Veterans Business Training Center.

Around the same time, Mychol Robirds envisioned a model for his own merchant services firm and later launched the idea with help from a friend and business colleague. That idea grew into Securus Payments, a company that serves businesses of varying sizes with their payment transaction operations, providing them access to advanced processing technology and proven solutions. In his executive role, Mr. Robirds oversees a remote sales staff of over 80 professionals and manages annual revenues of several million dollars.
