Someone To Dream With 52nd Street Festival

WEST PHILADELPHIA--Someone 2 Dream with festival is an event giving the community as a whole " Someone To Dream With . The festival is held every year at the end of the summer. The Philadelphia festival was taken to another level thanks to Cashae Star, founder of "Someone 2 dream With", and her tribute to her little cousin, Brianna who passed away almost 3yrs ago as a result of brain tumors. Brianna was 13 years old. Cashae wanted a way to celebrate Brianna's life, but life in general, so she decided to celebrate the living and the community by creating the Brianna Back to School Jam. The event was held on 52nd Street between Market and Arch. Cashae had big dreams of making it more than just a Jam but a Music festival that would go blocks long , so she got in contact with 52nd street project coordinator Akeem Dixon , and he gave her the okay to dream on, and told her she can use as many blocks as she like. The event always feature an impressive lineup of contributers including, Walmart, WaWa, The Free Library, Shop Rite, The Fire Department, Sneaker Villa, Biz In The hood and more as well as local small businesses and community organizations.Cashae plans to make next year's event even bigger. She is currently organizing some additional events along with her entertainment projects, so follow her developments through her social media networks this Years festival which would be the 6th annual will be much bigger and grander thanks to the Philadelphia Enterprise center.
