An experienced educator and researcher, Dr. Nancy Casella began preparing for her career as a student at Queens College, where she received a bachelor of arts in elementary education. Following this, Dr. Casella gained acceptance to Hunter College, where she earned a master of science in special education followed by a professional diploma with focuses on administration and supervision. Additionally, she earned a master of arts in forensic psychology at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and then earned a doctor of education in educational administration at St. John’s University. Currently, Dr. Nancy Casella serves as an associate adjunct professor with Hunter College - City University of New York and with St. John’s University.

A valued voice in her field, Dr. Casella has delivered research presentations on a variety of topics at events hosted by various professional organizations and associations, such as the American Educational Research Association, and the Association for Psychological Science. Most recently, Dr. Nancy Casella presented a paper titled The Effects of Bullying on School Climate, Trust, Student Achievement and Overall Institutional Effectiveness.
