Naazlin Dadani-Mulder

The Hague, The Netherlands

Meeting new people and getting to know them is what I enjoy most in life. But how to answer those frequently asked, questions: where are you from? and what do you do? Try to label me:

I’m Kenyan born, ethnically Indian, raised as an American citizen, residing in The Netherlands with my Dutch husband. As a social services professional and international development practitioner, I worked extensively on three continents with high-risk youth, refugees, victims of crime, and families in poverty. As an international business professional, I worked with people of many different nationalities, managed commercial, not-for profit and volunteer projects and contracts. In addition to event planning - that’s right … I like to organize and party!

I enjoy dancing, traveling and experiencing cultures and of course, food! I am fluent in English and Kachi and can get by with my Hindi and Urdu language skills and currently, I am also learning to speak that throat-scraping language of the Dutch. Tjongejongejonge! (My favorite expression so far).

Living in cosmopolitan The Hague, I very much enjoy having the opportunity to learn and be exposed to the international political system, justice, NGO’s, and some very interesting people.
