Nadia Lockyer

Nadia Lockyer is an accomplished consultant and attorney in Long Beach, California, who emphasizes a message of strength, recovery, and hope. She assists victims of stalking and interpersonal violence, and she works on behalf of children who have been victims of abuse, neglect, and abandonment. Nadia Lockyer’s experience includes the development of effective fundraising strategies, with a focus on securing consistent financial support from government and nonprofit programs that are set up for those in need.

From 2007 to 2011, Ms. Lockyer was the executive director of the Alameda County Family Justice Center and managed the delivery of services through private and public providers for victims of abuse, rape, and sexual exploitation. She helped increase the financial resources of a number of programs and developed new grant pathways. Ms. Lockyer’s efforts were recognized nationally as a best-practice model for public-private partnerships involving comprehensive service delivery. Nadia Lockyer has received the California State Democratic Party’s John F. Kennedy Jr. Public Service Award and the Orange County Human Relations Commission’s Public Service Award.
