I am passionate about having a dynamic and intimate relationship with God. Although I am a Christian, I believe that the Holy One can be discovered through any religion and even through Nature itself. I believe that all relationships are either growing or dying, so we must nurture our relationship with God just as we would our spouse, partner, or friend. As in any relationship, we nurture it through spending time together, and so we pray so that our relationship with God will deepen. As it deepens, our trust in God will grow and so we will have an increased willingness to be led by God in the ways we live our lives. Our relationship with God should be enfolded in love, marked by joy, peace, and kindness, and be outwardly expressed through service to all.
I have been involved in ministry since I was a teenager. I have sung and played guitar for church services, led different types of lay ministry, served on various church councils, trained as a hospital chaplain, and am currently a spiritual director and coordinator of my parish's adult education.
I still love to play guitar and currently own an electric Paul Reed Smith singlecut, McCarty hollowbody with a fretboard inlay of birds. I enjoy and am deeply inspired by Nature. I cherish my husband, two daughters and their families, and our extended families.
