Based in Austin, Texas, Nancy Naeve has focused on neighborhood and community work in her local area over the past four decades. At different times, Nancy Naeve served as president of Lost Creek Municipal Utility District and the Lost Creek Neighborhood Association (LCNA), and she has also held other officer positions with the Austin, Texas organizations.

Prior to serving as LCNA treasurer in the early 1990s, Ms. Naeve was responsible for the planting of flowers at the corner of Quaker Ridge and Lost Creek Blvd., and in the median strip at the Lost Creek entrance. Later, as president of LCNA in 2000, she played an integral role in creating the Westlake area’s friendliest and most active neighborhood.

One major project undertaken under her watch as LCNA president involved curb number painting, which ensured that local residents’ addresses were visible both day and night. Ms. Naeve additionally oversaw seasonal initiatives, including setting in place holiday decorations in Lost Creek Park in tandem with members of the Lost Creek Home and Garden Club.
