How many years do you have to live in a city before you start calling it home and people refer to you as a local? Since the day I moved to Nashville in the Fall of 2003, I've called Nashville home and felt like a local. Nashville has the magic combination of talent, tolerance and technology, which makes living and growing a business the best place in the world to be.
While on a soccer scholarship at Lipscomb University, I received a B.S. degree in Accounting and Management. Looking back, there's an immense value in knowing what you don't want to do for a career. I just wish that lesson wasn't so expensive! In my late 20's I started a small consulting business that eventually became Parachute Media. I had the idea that local Nashville brand's needed help using social media to drive business. Since its inception, we've matured to working with global brands like Brown-Forman and regional brands like Direct Auto Insurance.
I feel blessed and extremely fortunate to blend the passions in my personal life with that of my professional career. For those two things to have the same trajectory is absolutely incredible.
