Natalie Le Clerc
When Natalie Le Clerc was a young high school graduate, she signed up for a four month travel consultant's course at Sydney, Australia's Traveland College. She looked forward to starting a career which would allow her the opportunity to help people reach their destinations - and afford her a chance to travel, as well. Little did she know that her diploma in travel would lead to a whirlwind career spanning over two decades, landing her in an admirable management position with The Red Carnation Hotel Collection. The hotel chain, a member of The Travel Corporation (TTC), is the first choice for world travelers seeking luxurious boutique hotels.
Le Clerc has been working under the auspices of TTC for much of her professional career. After gaining experience managing guest relations in Bali, restaurant/bar manager in the United Kingdom, a yacht hostess in the Mediterranean, travel consultant in Australia and Transport manager at Club Med resorts, Le Clerc began leading European coach tours for Contiki Tours, which is a member of TTC. While stationed in Europe, Natalie Le Clerc was selected for a series of important new projects.
The first of these new projects was new product development at Great Keppel Island, Australia, where she supervised Activities and Entertainment, and managed guest services. In short, she was responsible for ensuring that every guest had the opportunity to enjoy a truly Contiki experience. The second project was the reopening of the Contiki Resort in Mykonos, Greece. Here, serving as interim general manager, Le Clerc managed practically every aspect of the resort's management and implementation of the Contiki concept. Le Clerc's third project was the opening of the Contiki Resort in Bali in 2005. Three years later, she headed the multi million dollar project that would transform the Bali Contiki Resort to The Breezes Resort and Spa, an associated property of Red Carnation Hotels.
Today, Le Clerc is a TTC senior executive at The Red Carnation Hotel Collection.
