Well established in the automotive sales field, Nathan Brown cofounded Auto House locations in Salisbury and Mooresville, North Carolina. He grew the business from the ground up, expanding from a single one-acre lot, with two vehicles for sale, into a major operation. Employing a consignment strategy, Nathan Brown enabled local residents to profitably sell their cars and the cashflow generated allowed him to move toward a more profitable business model of purchasing cars outright.

Achieving rapid success, Nate Brown marketed to customers with a wide range of credit ratings and emphasized flexibility in moving inventory. In 2011, he oversaw a move of the firm's operations to Jake Alexander Boulevard, a prominent “car mile” location that attracts a wide range of people in search of vehicles. By 2016, he had grown the company to more than 70 employees and achieved continuous growth and high customer retention rates.

Nathaniel Brown earned his MBA at Catawba College in Salisbury, where he was Phi Sigma Epsilon treasurer and graduated cum laude. He also leveraged success as a collegiate soccer player into six months spent abroad competing professionally in Italy and the UK.
