National Kwikmetal Service

NKS started in 1989 as National Knife & Supply, a distributor of industrial knives that cut metal, paper and wood. In 1991, National Kwikmetal Service began operation with a single 18" slitter and a vision that there was a need for a stainless steel supplier that catered to customers that only required small quantities of precision slit coil. This is an idea that resonated with customers both large and small.

Over time, NKS has expanded upon this idea by offering solutions to our customers' most pressing problems. During the past 21 years, NKS has taken the challenge to help our customers by providing more than low cost material. We provide excellent customer service, as well as metallurgical lab services and a fresh look at specifying the correct grade of stainless for unusual applications.
