Ned Lacombe

A skilled and experienced geologist, Ned Lacombe has been professionally trained in areas of applied subsurface geological mapping methods, development geology and well log analysis, and modern petrophysical well log interpretation. Ned Lacombe most recently served in the position of international operations Geologist III with Noble Energy in Houston, Texas, having previously worked for the company as a senior geologist for two years. In this international operations role, he oversaw business activities ranging from West Africa to China. Prior to joining Noble Energy, he spent time as an operations geologist at Talisman Energy USA, Inc., and as a global business development manager at Weatherford International.

Lacombe earned a bachelor of science in geology from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. In his free time, he is active in industry groups such as the Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analysts and the Oilfield Christian Fellowship. Some of his interests outside of work include hunting and fishing and playing tennis.
